Captain Nate Middleton was born March 20, 1980 in San Antonio Texas. Since he could remember, fishing was his favorite pastime. As a kid, many fishing trips with his father and grandfather only enhanced his passion for the sport of recreational angling and conservation.
Weekly trips to the waters off the Texas coast with friends and family set the foundation for his need to be on the water. After graduating high school in Floresville Texas, he attended college in Austin and later in San Antonio. His desire to be on the waters of the Laguna Madre and the sands of Padre Island National Seashore, permanently landed him in Corpus Christi Texas in 2002. There he attended Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Science in August of 2005. Shortly after graduation he attended the Sea Academy in Aransas Pass Texas and received his USCG Captains License and became a certified TP&W Licensed Guide.
He now resides on North Padre Island in Corpus Christi, Texas and fishes the Laguna Madre and Baffin Bay. Captain Nate also is an avid tournament fisherman and has traveled as far as Gulf Shores Alabama for a Championship event where he placed 8th. No doubt, that a day on the water with Captain Nate Middleton will be educational and one to remember.
